Aston International are pleased to support the Isle of Man GuitarFest for the third consecutive year, in 2016.
Jonathan Gollow, an Aston International employee, is the creator and organiser of GuitarFest and the firm have been happy to be associated with the event since Jonathan joined them in 2014.
Jonno said “I’m delighted that Aston’s management team have again agreed to support the Island’s cultural life by providing financial support to GuitarFest. Their support along with that of the other sponsors including Arts Council Isle of Man, Swagelok Limited, DQ Advocates, More Music 3FM, Isle of Man Steam Packet and Creative Industries (Dept of Economic Development) allows JonnoPromotions to subsidise the costs of the GuitarFest events to the Manx music audience. I’m particularly grateful to my directors for their generosity, as well as for the “moral support” that their financial sponsorship provides to me as an employee!”
Here’s some local press coverage of the event and Aston’s support from Isle of Man Newspapers.
The events feature Welsh singer/songwriter/guitarist Martyn Joseph, English guitarist/composer Mike Dawes (mentor on Sky TV’s Guitar Star) and world-travelling guitarist/composer Amrit Sond making his fourth visit to the Isle of Man. GuitarFest takes place between Friday October 28th and Sunday October 30th mostly at the Peel Centenary Centre.
